Amaya was showing signs of falling behind and her grades reflected the delay. It didn’t help that doing homework was a nightmare. I quickly found myself lost in translation to how the material was being taught today from that which I had learned and had no idea how to guide her. This made it all the more difficult to gain her interest and cooperation. We would both end up frustrated and overwhelmed by the process which nearly always ended in screaming and crying. We both dreaded homework time.

While in search for a tutor and feeling dissatisfied with the options available I came across your services. The parent program seemed to satisfy several components instrumental to addressing Amaya’s challenges. 1. Identify specifically what areas need nurturing, 2. Clarify and teach me how to instruct her and the fundamentals to learning phonetics and how to read, & 3. Addressed the anxieties we both had about working together. It seemed ideal and the most beneficial for the time and cost. ⁠

It was beautiful to see the process as we both developed and opened up to one another, learning, and developing a positive relationship with learning and homework time. I recently purchased the Reading and Writing Success series for my 4-year-old daughter, Sofia, and it has been nothing short of amazing! The thoughtful design and engaging content have made learning an absolute joy for Sofia. She especially likes how each phonics sound is introduced through captivating sentences, making it incredibly fun.

Thanks to the well-structured progression of the phonics cards, she's constructing short words on her own.

What I loved about Reading and Writing Success is that it took me back into the world of the early reader and helped me see things from the child's perspective. It presented a very holistic approach to building literacy skills. I am thankful that with the program I could work with my child at his own pace and interest level.

I am motivated not just to teach my child to read but moreso to facilitate a love for and confidence in reading. The lessons, activities, and resources are excellent and easy to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed having this amazing support in my child's learning journey.

Before having access to support in helping Amelia to read and write, doing it alone was at times, a bit challenging, since I was using the same methods I was taught at her age.

Though Amelia has always been a fast learner, I realised at the time, trying to teach her the way I was, wasn't ideal for either of us. She'd get overwhelmed and miserable, and so would I. After being introduced to Reading and Writing Success, I quickly hopped on board, as I am a strong believer that having the ability to adequately read and write is a must since it sets the foundation for every other endeavor as we get older.

From start to finish, the process has been mostly easy with a few ups and downs along the way. However, I am proud to say, that Amelia is now able to successfully complete school lessons a grade above her own.
